CHANGE OF ADDRESS

I just noticed that there is a change in the address for mailing balance due 1040s and 1040As for NJ taxpayers.

Refund returns are still send to Kansas City.  But, as per my 1040 Quickfinder Handbook and the IRS website, balance due 1040s and 1040As are now sent to -

INTERNAL REVENUE SERVICE

ST LOUS M0 63197-0011

Balance due returns for residents of New York and Pennsylvania still go to

INTERNAL REVENUE SERVICE

HARTFORD CT 06176-0008
