The
registration form for the NJ chapter of NATP’s 2013 “Famous State Tax Seminar”
is now available to download. Click
here.
The
seminar will be held, as usual, at the Hilton Woodbridge in Iselin, New Jersey
from 8:00 AM till 4:35 PM (with registration beginning at 7:30 AM) on Saturday,
January 12, 2013.
Once
again the day will begin with keynote speaker Michael Bryan, Director of the NJ
Division of Taxation (in my opinion, so far a disappointment). The schedule will also include NJ Inheritance
Tax and NJ, NY, and PA state tax updates.
Popular
speaker Kathryn Keane will provide the NY update. I was disappointed to see that a stranger was
identified as the person providing the NJ updates. What happened to Jim Gordon? First we lose Jacob Foy, and now Jim. Jim Gordon will be a hard act to follow.
The
cost of the day is $200 for members and $250 for non-members for registrations
postmarked before January 9th, and $260 for all for registrations
postmarked on or after January 9th and at the door. While the registration form does not
specifically say so, lunch is usually included in the price.
NJ-NATP
will be taking a collection for the NJ Hurricane Sandy Relief Fund.
If
you want to stay overnight at the Hilton on January 11th, book by Friday,
December 14th to take advantage of a discounted room rate of $114
(not the actual cost – don’t forget to add the additional 15% in taxes and
fees).
This
seminar is a “must attend” for tax pros who prepare NJ returns. See you there!
